María Ramos
María Ramos was born in Cáceres, Spain and grew up surrounded by sheep, cows, horses, and people who made cheese and olive oil. As a child, she spent her summers swimming in ponds, drawing everything she saw. Later, she traded the pond for the University of Porto’s Faculty of Fine Arts, where she continued drawing… and she never stopped. She has published books and fanzines, taught workshops, and participated in every self-publishing fair there is. She loves artichokes, playing tennis, foraging for mushrooms, and composing hilarious songs in her head
and humming them while she walks.
