Bruno Zocca
Bruno Zocca was born in Verona, studied illustration and graphic design at ISIA in Urbino, and is the author-illustrator of two picture books. In 2014, he won the Ars In Fabula Grant Award from the Bologna Book Fair, and he was a Sendak Fellow in 2023. His illustrations for Mio Nonno Gigante won the 2019 Premio Letteratura Ragazzi Award.The Italian edition of I Forgot How to Sleep was a notable title in the 2025White Ravens Selection and the 2025 IBBY Italia Choice. Bruno lives and works in Bologna, where he loves taking long walks, especially when he can’t fall asleep.
